At Little Apples Day Nursery, we understand the important role parents and guardians have at pre schools and nursery schools. Our staff work alongside you, providing support and guidance, encouraging involvement with pop in sessions and ‘Meet the Director’ days. We keep communication open every step of the way, to help your child reach their own potential successfully. Our experienced practitioners are always happy to talk through our child care policies and how learning can be tailored to fit your child’s requirements.
Online Learning Journey
The nursery manager will provide you with a fee list for the sessions and days that you are interested in when you attend your viewing appointment. We offer a sibling discount applied to the older child and childcare fees are paid in advance on the first day of the month. Payments can be accepted via Direct Debit/Standing Order along with child care vouchers, unfortunately we do not accept cheques or cash.
We receive both 2 & 3 year old pre schools funding. Every child qualifies for 3 year old funding from the term after their 3rd birthday, but please visit the GOV.UK site to see if you qualify for 2 year old funding in the South Croydon and Sanderstead borough areas.
If you are working your employer may provide you directly, or via a third party, with childcare vouchers. These are a Government-approved, tax-efficient way of paying for childcare. If you join the scheme, you can exchange up to £243* a month (£55* a week) of your gross salary for childcare vouchers. The part of your gross salary you exchange for childcare vouchers is tax-free and exempt from National Insurance contributions (NI). Because of this, you can make savings of up to £933** a parent, a year.
It doesn’t cost you anything to sign up for childcare vouchers and the scheme applies whatever rate of tax you pay. What’s more, both parents can request childcare vouchers, which means your family could save up to £1,866*** a year!
*For parents joining a scheme from 6 April 2011, the Government has capped the amount of childcare vouchers a taxpayer can request each month to £243 for a Basic rate tax-payer, £124 for a Higher rate taxpayer and £110 for an Additional rate taxpayer.
**Figures quoted are the maximum available savings for a Basic rate taxpayer. Higher and Additional rate taxpayers may save up to £623 a year. The savings you make will depend on your circumstances.
***Figures quoted relate to the maximum family savings, if both working parents are Basic rate taxpayers and use childcare vouchers. If both working parents are Higher or Additional rate taxpayers they may save up to £1,246 a year. The savings you make will depend on your circumstances.
