CCTV

At Little Apples children’s safety is paramount to us. Closed circuit television (CCTV) is installed at the setting for the purposes of staff, children and premises security. Cameras are located at various places on the premises, and images from the cameras are recorded. On occasions and where needed the CCTV can be reviewed by management for training and monitoring purposes.

Garden & Mud Kitchen Area

We have a beautifully resourced outside area providing exciting opportunities for the children to explore. The areas include bikes and trikes, construction, loose parts, water and sand areas, cosy nook and tool area. We additionally have our mud kitchen area which is very popular amongst our children! From making potions to mud pies, the children can express their imagination whilst building their physical development.

Pre-school Private Free Flow Area

Our pre-school class have access to their very own private outdoor space which is an extension of their classroom. The area is accessible during morning and afternoon playtimes, so children receive the benefit of learning in an environment that supports their needs.

Sensory Room

Our baby room is very fortunate to have an additional space for babies to explore, the room is filled with resources to fulfil a multi-sensory experience. We have bubble tubes, light up toys, mirror toys and focused sensory sessions which are created for the children to take part in. Other rooms can also have access to this space and additionally children that have SEN can have tailored programs organised to incorporate the sensory sessions.

On Site Kitchen & Chef

Little Apples has a fully resourced on-site kitchen where fresh meals are prepared daily by our amazing catering team. We have a rotational menu that has been designed to incorporate healthy and nutritious foods. The team are very passionate about this and are currently working through the Healthy Early Years London programme.

Housekeeper

We have a dedicated Housekeeper on site Monday – Friday. This role is to ensure all toys and equipment are cleaned on a rotational basis in each room and additionally looks after the laundry on site.
