Understanding childcare funding can feel overwhelming, but we're here to make it as simple as possible.
Little Apples offers a range of government-funded childcare places alongside privately funded sessions for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Government Funded Childcare
At Little Apples Day Nursery, we stretch government funding across the full year rather than offering funding over 38 term-time weeks. This allows families to benefit from lower monthly fees and consistent attendance throughout the year.
Stretched Funding Entitlements
15 Hours Funding
• Equivalent to approximately 11 funded hours per week across the year.
• Typically supports attendance of up to 2 days per week.
30 Hours Funding
• Equivalent to approximately 22 funded hours per week across the year.
• Typically supports attendance of up to 4 days per week.Our Commitment to Funded Childcare
At Little Apples Day Nursery, we believe government-funded childcare should be exactly that – funded.
Unlike many nurseries, we do not charge any additional fees during the funded period of the day.
Between 9:00am and 2:30pm, your child’s funded hours are provided completely free of charge to parents, with no top-up fees, consumable charges, meal charges or hidden extras applied during this time.
We are proud to offer genuine funded childcare, ensuring families receive the full benefit of their government funding entitlement.
Any charges made relate only to childcare provided outside of the funded period, allowing us to offer flexible full-day care from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
Fees are due on or before the 1st day of each month for that month's childcare.

No Hidden Charges!
At Little Apples, we believe in keeping our fees as simple and transparent as possible. Unlike many childcare providers, we do not charge additional fees for everyday consumables such as nappies, wipes, meals, snacks, or drinks.
This applies to all children attending the nursery, including those accessing government-funded hours. We are proud to offer a truly inclusive service, giving families peace of mind that the fee they are quoted is the fee they can expect to pay, with no hidden consumables costs.

We are pleased to offer a range of discounts to help support our families.
Full-Time Discount
Children attending 5 days per week receive a 10% full-time discount, whether attending as a privately funded child or accessing government-funded childcare.
Sibling Discount
Families with more than one child attending Little Apples can benefit from a 10% sibling discount, applied to the fees of the youngest sibling.
Blue Light Card Discount
Eligible families can receive a 5% discount by presenting a valid Blue Light Card when registering.
