At Little Apples we are extremely fortunate to have a supportive and friendly parent body. Our parents recognise that educating and ensuring children have a positive nursery experience is a process that involves partnership between parents and nursery practitioners. As a partnership, our parents will understand the importance of a good working relationship to equip children with the necessary skills for adulthood.
We understand that sometimes situations can stressful for everyone and it is natural for you to become disappointed and/or irritated from time to time. Please understand that there is a limited level of control Little Apples have on situations and guidance set by the government. Even though we often share your frustrations, and are always happy to listen, we ask that you ensure the correct level of respect is present whilst communicating.
To help continue to build on our positive relationships with parents and to help provide a clear picture of the expectations held, we have a Parents code of conduct. Staff at Little Apples will be treated with respect at all times and any accounts of rudeness/unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated.
Code of conduct process:
A copy of our 'Parent code of conduct' is available for download and will follow 4 stages. Each time an incident is reported, you will progress to the next stage. Please see below:
*Stage 1: You will a telephone call from your child's room leader regarding the incident. This will be witnessed by another staff member and notes of the telephone call will be recorded.
*Stage 2: You will receive a letter from the nursery manager regarding the incident/s.
*Stage 3: You will receive a formal letter from the directors of Little Apples.
*Stage 4: Your contract will be terminated.
We recognise that there are a large proportion of parents who have been extremely supportive. We would like to thank you for your continued support, not just now, but always.
